**Description**

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Receive/Dispatch co-ordinator or Assistant Warehouse Manager with a commitment to learn and assume the role of Warehouse and Factory Manager with the appropriate training.

Initially taking control of receive and dispatch, we envisage a 12 month training period during which time you will gradually take on more management responsibilities. You will need to understand the products we use and sell to effectively schedule materials delivery. Once trained you will oversee and manage our storage, distribution, logistics, product assembly and general warehouse operations at our Sydney headquarters in Mascot.

As manager you will be reporting to the management team and responsible for all warehouse functions to meet the Attic Group’s requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage and supervise the overall daily operations of the factory, warehouse, distribution, and service departments.
- Manage and supervise production, inventory control, storage, logistics, shipping, and customer service.
- Manage and supervise five (5) full time staff.
- Closely monitor and maintain stock levels and coordinate procurement both domestically and internationally.
- Liaise and negotiate with local, national, and international transport companies and freight forwarders.
- Liaise with staff, internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth warehouse and production practices.
- Inspect equipment, tools and machinery and oversee general maintenance.
- Manage WHS compliance in the warehouse
- Manage waste removal including separation of recyclable items and manage waste contracts and services.

**Essential**
- Proven warehouse receive/dispatch experience or Assistant Warehouse Manager with good references.

**Key Attributes**
- excellent planning and organisational skills.
- Sound computer skills with experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar, MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced storage and distribution environment.
- Strong leadership to manage our warehouse staff by way of delegating, rostering, training, and monitoring.
- Able to implement, manage and follow company’s policies and procedures
- Good written, verbal and numerical communication skills
- Experience with power tools is an advantage.
- Current forklift license LF (preferred)

Salary will be commensurate with experience and responsibility.
