Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.

**Your Opportunity**:
The position of Paediatric Registrar (in the role of Paediatric Advanced Trainee Fellow) will:

- Provide advanced training in Community Paediatrics for a Paediatric Senior Registrar or Paediatrician wishing to pursue a career in or, gain specialist experience in child development, learning and behaviour.
- Develop his/her own professional skills in developmental-behavioural paediatrics and specific knowledge and skills of community child health through completion of a clinical attachment with one of the 3 specialist ambulatory hubs (Brisbane Central, North or South community hubs) of the Child Development Program or 0.5FTE at the Queensland Children's Hospital. Options are available to combine this 0.5FTE with 0.5FTE research role in Centre for Clinical trials in Rare Neurodevelopmental Disorders.
- Deliver medical services through participation in clinical duties at Fellow level and in accordance with the policies, practices and Values of the Children's Health Queensland Hospital and Health Service.
- Demonstrate commitment to evidence based practice, research and quality improvement activities, including undertaking clinical audits and clinical risk management activities.
- Assist in the professional development of junior medical staff and the training of medical and allied health students.
