**About the role**:
We are looking for an experienced hands-on Maintenance officer to maintain our hospital facilities. You'll work as part of a small operations team directly reporting to our Safety and Facilities Manager. You will contribute to the day-today maintenance as well as ensuring our hospitals are a caring environment that enhance the security, welfare and wellbeing of our team members and patients.

To be successful in this position you must be a team player and have the ability to think outside the box

**Duties will include but not be limited to**:

- Physical capability of lifting and moving heavy items safely and efficiently.
- Keeping all sites to a hospital level of cleaning and hygiene.
- Assessing and implementing a daily balance of planned and ad hoc work requests for repairs using GoFmx software
- Technical Knowledge; Achieve a satisfactory level of trade and or technical skills/knowledge in job-related areas; keeping abreast of current developments and trends in area of trade expertise.
- Knowledge and/or significant experience in the maintenance, carpentry or building field.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment, planning and prioritising work.
- Inspect work of all contractors attending site and ensuring works performed to a high standard advising.
- Good computer literacy in software such as the Microsoft Office Suite, access control / BMS software.

**To be considered for this position it is essential that you have**:

- Trade certificate or 5 years on tools experience
- Infection control management or experience within a medical environment

**Highly desirable**:

- Familiarity with GoFmx or similar maintenance software.
- Experience with Inception or similar security software.
- Experience or willing to learn using pressure cleaners, floor scrubbers and carpet shampooers

**Salary**: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
