Driver / Assisted School Travel Support Officer

Our Mission is to provide people with disability access to community, educational, sporting and family events whenever they require our services.
Your job will entail driving clients or supporting clients as they transport from one location to another. Most work is undertaken between 7:30am - 9:30am and 2:30pm - 4:30pm Monday to Friday as we transport children to and from school.
Our drivers, travel support officers, carers and support workers have current Working With Children Checks and National Police Checks, and a current record of their driving history from Service NSW.
**Job Type**: Casual
**Salary**: $29.40 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Afternoon shift
- Morning shift
COVID-19 considerations:
All drivers and support people are to be triple vaccinated against Covid-19. Masks are mandatory while driving / supporting clients. All vehicles are sanitised before and after each client.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Newcastle NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)
