**Position description**

We seek an enthusiastic Medical Typist to join our vibrant histology department in Macquarie Park. You will be an essential team member, and your responsibilities will include the following:

- Recording key information and accurately doing data entry in multiple data bases
- Answering inbound and outbound calls to communicate outcomes to key stakeholders, such as doctors and medical staff
- Delivering exceptional customer service in a fast paced health environment
- Collaborating with other team members to achieve tasks promptly
- Other ad hoc office tasks

We are proud to say we have a learning and supportive environment, and full training will be provided. We are looking for the following:

- Open to working full time hours 10 am - 6 pm Monday to Friday
- Familiar with medical terminology in a healthcare setting
- Strong computer literacy and fast typing skills. Experience in digital dictation typing system is highly advantageous
- A hard-working, motivated individual with a strong work ethic
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with good time management skills
