**Overview**

Kangaroo Island boasts more than 500 kilometres of stunning coastline and beaches, and nearly half its landscapes are free of development and home to some extraordinary wildlife such as - wallabies, echidnas, kangaroos, koalas, goannas and an abundance of birdlife.

The Kingscote is approximately 40 minutes from Penneshaw, the gateway to the mainland via Sealink Ferry, or 15 minutes from the airport. Useful information on Kangaroo Island

As part of the community Mental health team, you will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of evidence-based, recovery-oriented mental health services appropriate to the needs of consumers and the local community. To achieve this, you will be working with consumers across community, acute and rehabilitation service settings, and utilise a combination of therapeutic approaches. Operating within pre-determined guidelines and in a multidisciplinary primary health care setting, you will assess consumers, select and implement different therapeutic interventions and/or support programs, and evaluate progress.
