We are recruiting a full-time Terminal Operator for our Laverton Terminal in Melbourne, Victoria. For a 24 months fixed term contract Reporting to the Terminal Specialist, this position is part of the Logistics team responsible for executing the ordering, unloading, distribution, inventory and storage activities of the Laverton terminal.
- As a Terminal Operator you will:

- Coordinate inbound road service activities - Arrange Inbound Inventory from Source.
- Supervise drivers Loading and Unloading - Inbound and Outbound Inventory.
- Execute the transfer of inventory between Silos - Hands on Transfer of Inventory.
- Report Daily on Inventory level, Inbound and Outbound Demand.
- Additional tasks as needed, as per training & competencies.

This role is hourly paid, working primarily Monday to Friday with a base of 38 hours per week, however reasonable overtime may be required Monday to Friday and on weekends from time to time depending on the needs of the business.
- To be successful in this role, you will:

- Strong focus on working safely.
- Ability to work successfully both as an individual and as part of a team.
- Ability to work evening/night shifts if necessary.
- High degree of self-direction and self-motivation.
- High risk forklift License.
- Experience following safety procedures whilst handling hazardous substances.
