**Kids Play Centre Attendant**

**Location**: Club Central Menai
**Position**: Part-Time

**About the Role**

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Kids Play Centre Attendant to join our team at Club Central Menai. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, family-friendly environment where creating a safe, fun, and engaging space for children is the top priority. **Key Responsibilities**
As a Kids Play Centre Attendant, your primary duties will include:

- ** Centre Records**: Maintain accurate daily attendance records and ensure they are submitted to the Venue Manager at the end of each day.
- ** Child Collection Procedures**: Ensure that only the registered member who signs a child into the centre is the one to collect them.
- ** Capacity Management**: Monitor the centre’s capacity, ensuring a maximum of 20 children at any one time, with a staff ratio of 1:10. Create a waiting list as needed and admit children as others leave.
- ** Health and Safety**:

- Identify and report any hazards, equipment failures, or accidents promptly to the Venue Manager.
- Follow WH&S guidelines and maintain a clean, safe, and tidy environment for all children and staff.
- Monitor for any unwell children or infectious diseases, ensuring that the centre remains a healthy environment.
- Administer first aid when necessary, using protective gloves and maintaining high standards of personal hygiene.
- ** Parent/Guardian Communication**: Place name tags on children at check-in and provide clear guidelines on centre procedures to parents/guardians.
- ** Adherence to Policies**:

- Comply with Club policies, including privacy regulations, ensuring no personal information is shared with third parties.
- Report any incidents, altercations, or policy breaches involving members to the Venue Manager.

**Who We’re Looking For**
- ** A friendly and responsible** approach to supervising children.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure all records are accurately maintained.
- A proactive approach to health and safety, maintaining a high standard of hygiene at all times.
- Good communication skills to interact professionally with children, parents, and other staff members.
- The ability to follow strict privacy and safety protocols, keeping confidentiality at the forefront.

**Requirements**:

- ** Current First Aid Certificate** (desirable)
- Previous experience in child supervision or play centre environments (preferred)
- ** A Working with Children Check** (WWCC)
