**ASSISTANT DIRECTOR QUALITY AND SAFETY**

Location: Perth, Australia

**Salary**: $80 per hour plus super

We are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Director Quality and Safety to work within the Mental Health sector. This role is based in Perth and offers a competitive salary of $80 per hour plus super.

**Responsibilities**:

- Work with the Director of Quality and Safety to develop and implement policies and procedures for the delivery of mental health services
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of these policies and procedures to ensure they are achieving the desired outcomes
- Identify and report on areas for improvement in the delivery of mental health services
- Provide advice and support to staff on issues relating to quality and safety
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies and mental health service providers
- Lead and participate in quality improvement projects
- Provide regular reports to the Director of Quality and Safety on quality and safety performance

**Requirements**:

- Relevant tertiary qualification in health or related field
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the mental health sector
- Knowledge of quality and safety standards and regulatory requirements in the mental health sector
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
