- **About the opportunity**
- We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Student Planner to join our Development Assessment section on a term contract, full-time basis for up to 3 months. This opportunity is for a student currently enrolled in a Town Planning or related qualification, eager to gain hands-on experience in local government.
- **Qualifications and experience**
- **Essential**:

- Currently enrolled, with the intention of completing relevant qualifications in a related field
- Knowledge of applicable legislation/regulations
- Computer literate.

**Desirable**:

- Experience in planning, policy and strategy
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Current class C driver's licence
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service
- Ability to work within a team environment
- Availability to work flexible working hours.

**Remuneration and benefits**
- The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.- Entry level for this position starts at $1,315.70 per week
- 35-hour working week
