**The main responsibilities of the job are**:
Weekly and monthly payroll for Australia and New Zealand employees
Maintaining accurate employee records, including new hires, terminations, and job changes
Responding to payroll-related inquiries from employees and providing excellent customer service
Assisting the Finance Director at period end to reconcile reporting to the General Ledger Payroll
Preparation of monthly and weekly payroll journals
Being the go-to payroll expert, translating legislation, policy and our Enterprise Agreement into the payroll system
Other accounting duties including managing the Concur expense system, managing purchase orders and other accounting duties.

**Requirements**:
Proficient in MicroPay Meridian software Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll processing and administration
Strong knowledge of payroll legislation, regulations and awards
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively
Strong communication and customer service skills
Experience using Connx, PeopleKey Time and Attendance System, SAP for accounting and SAP Concur for expenses will also be highly regarded
