THE OPPORTUNITY
As part of our diverse team based in Adelaide, you will help make a positive impact on someone’s life every day. You will feel great satisfaction knowing your talent and hard work has a purpose.
The purpose of this role is to provide early, timely and personal service to workers, employers, and other stakeholders whilst providing an empathetic customer experience through a deep technical specialisation in complex claims.
This will be a full-time, 6-month contract position based in the Adelaide office, with flexibility to work from home once fully trained.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively manage rehabilitation providers and approval of rehabilitation plans/wellness plans in accordance with guidelines.
- Liaise with all internal and external stakeholders regularly to progress strategies and actions.
- Engage in employer claims reviews where requested and maintain regular contact with the employer, EML account manager and/or primary EML claims specialist for a policy
- Gather evidence and conduct investigations to assist in the dispute proceedings and ensure that they are managed and supported in a timely manner
- Ensure the effective management of key legislative drivers in accordance with the Act
ABOUT YOU
- Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience with a strong focus on customer satisfaction
- Great attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Tertiary studies in Allied Health (Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Nursing, Psychology) is advantageous but not mandatory.
