**Job Overview**: Orani Cherry Farm is seeking hardworking and reliable Fruit Pickers for our upcoming cherry season. As a Fruit Picker, you will play a crucial role in harvesting our cherries, ensuring that only the best quality fruit is selected. This is a seasonal role, ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, have a good attention to detail, and can work efficiently within a team.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Carefully pick cherries by hand, selecting only ripe, high-quality fruit
- Handle fruit delicately to prevent damage
- Sort and pack cherries according to quality standards
- Work efficiently to meet daily picking targets
- Adhere to farm safety guidelines and hygiene standards
- Maintain a clean and organized work area

**Requirements**:

- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Physical fitness and stamina for long periods of standing, bending, and carrying
- Attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends, during peak season

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in fruit picking or agricultural work (not required)
- Knowledge of cherry ripeness and quality standards (training provided)

**Schedule**:

- **Seasonal Dates**: Starting December 20th
- **Hours**: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with possible weekend shifts during peak season

**Compensation**: Competitive hourly rate, with bonus opportunities based on productivity.

**Additional Information**: Accommodation options may be available upon request for those traveling from outside the area.

- Forklift Licence (preferred)
