**Job Title**: Pallet Jack Mover

**Job Summary**: The Pallet Jack Mover is responsible for efficiently and safely operating a manual or electric pallet jack to transport pallets, materials, and products within a designated warehouse or storage area. The role involves ensuring items are moved accurately and in a timely manner, while maintaining a safe working environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate a manual or electric pallet jack to move products, materials, and goods throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload pallets from trucks, shelves, or racks.
- Ensure pallets are stacked and stored correctly to optimize space and maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory within the warehouse.
- Verify product and material counts, and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
- Follow all safety protocols and warehouse procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, ensuring it remains clear of hazards.
- Assist in performing basic maintenance or troubleshooting of pallet jack equipment as needed.
- Perform other tasks as directed by the supervisor or warehouse manager.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience operating a pallet jack or similar equipment is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and safety standards.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Good physical condition, with the ability to lift and move heavy materials.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work in varying temperatures (if applicable).

**Work Environment**:

- Warehouse or distribution center.
- May require standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Will occasionally need to work in cold or hot environments depending on the nature of the warehouse.

Pay: $35.00 per hour
