Warehouse Picker/packer

**The Packaging Place is a leading food and retail packaging supplier. We work with our customers to source, manufacture, and supply packaging solutions to meet their requirements.**

We are seeking a full time warehouse member to join our Brisbane team.

**About the role**

The core of this role includes:

- Picking, packing and dispatching orders in a prompt time frame with accurate results
- Accepting deliveries from suppliers, reporting promptly on variances
- Unpacking containers, repacking shelves and controlling stock locations
- Transferring stock from Bulk Locations to Pick Locations
- Helping with other warehouse and manufacturing tasks
- Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse

**Knowledge, skill & experience**

As successful applicant will have:

- An ability to work in a fast paced and high pressure environment
- A high level of accuracy and good attention to detail
- Use of handheld picking scanners
- Proactive and efficient
- Sound computer skills
- An ability to work as part of a team and take direction
- Current Forklift Licence is required
- Warehouse experience is required
- Flexible with duties

Pay: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Picking & packing: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Forklift Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
