**About the role**

We’re looking for an Assistant Store Manager to join our Trade Centre based in our Morayfield, QLD store. This role will involve working closely with the Store Manager and focusing on the day-to-day operations of the store. You’ll play a critical role in representing the Dulux brand whilst leading an enthusiastic team in the managers absence.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintaining and ordering stock
- Store opening and closing
- Banking procedures
- Displaying expert leadership within your team
- Strong customer service focus, particularly on stock availability, tinting and invoice accuracy

**Skills & Experience**

You’ll be a leader who will leads by example and will drive engagement with your people through our values. You may come from a trade or operations background. You can demonstrate a level of physical ability to lift products of up to 20kg and work with our paint and other heavy goods in store at times. In addition, you will:

- Clear communication and the ability to build strong relationships with the team and customers
- A passion for customer service and developing new business
- A solid understanding of inventory management
