Crisalida is an established therapy centre providing dynamic, creative ways to make positive changes. Crisalida has been providing client and family-centred multi-disciplinary services including Psychology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Art and Family Therapy in the inner northern suburbs for over 13 years.
As a service, we work hard to look after our clients, but also our therapists. We try to match the client’s needs to the most appropriate therapist and/or program, providing them with the best opportunity for a successful fit from both perspectives. Therapists work closely with clients, parents and other supports to enhance skills and self-mastery, and to work towards a meaningful, connected, and happy life.
Each of Crisalida’s two centres offer clients a variety of services, allowing collaboration between therapists, as well as multidisciplinary assessment and co-facilitation of group programs. Service provisions include individual, group and family therapy, as well as joint therapy sessions with two therapists. Many of our therapists offer external consultations to homes, educational settings and childcare, to support the generalisation of skill development, and to help the broader community better support and understand individual needs.
What We Offer:
Crisalida is committed to supporting its therapists through providing an inclusive and flexible work environment and excellent team culture. Crisalida provides supervision and professional development to support you to grow and develop and assist your clients to do the same. We provide administrative support, comfortable rooms, resources and equipment and a degree of autonomy and flexibility in managing your client caseload.
This position can be provided as either a permanent salaried position or an independent contractor.
COMMITMENT TO CHILD SAFETY
Crisalida has zero tolerance for child abuse and are committed to acting in the best interest of the children in our care. We promote cultural safety and participation of Aboriginal children, children of cultural and linguistic diversity and those with disabilities to keep them safe at all times.
We are looking for an experienced AHA to join our team as a part time contractor.
About you:
- Completion of Certificate IV (Allied Health Assistance) from a registered training organisation, OR
- Higher qualification in a relevant health science discipline at Diploma or Associate Diploma level
- Demonstrated experience and ability in providing a range of support services to children, young people and adults under the supervision and/or direction of an allied health professional.
