Our Regional and Agribusiness banking team (RAB) are passionately committed to supporting businesses across Australia and helping to build and enhance the financial well-being of our regional health communities.
You'll be managing a client base spanning across the health industry, providing full banking solutions for customers across the Newcastle region.
We work flexibly to balance the needs of the client, team and home-life. This team works between the office, client sites and remotely.
The segment we focus on is businesses that turnover between $20m – $150m and delivering on a range of needs and requirements, including cash flow, capital, wealth, risk management and investment advice.
This role specialises in the Healthcare industry, where your portfolio is made up with a variety of health industries such as Medico, Vet, Pharmacy, Aged Care, Allied Health, Day Hospitals and Retirement Villages.

As a Relationship Executive, you will provide meaningful solutions for a well-established and thriving client portfolio within healthcare. Understanding the specific needs and goals of your clients will help you to use your relationships to help them understand new opportunities. You will use your insights, experience and expertise, along with a great range of innovative products and services, to help move Healthcare businesses forward and to grow our client base.
You will commence with an existing book of established clients with the expectation that in addition to providing excellent service to these clients, you will also focus on new client acquisition as well as identifying further opportunities for both new and existing clients.
You will benefit from one on one support from our highly skilled analyst team, and fully integrated market-leading systems, giving you more time with your customers.
More specifically, you will:
Build strong relationships with clients and retain their business through excellent client service;
Use your network and referral partners to identify and pursue new to bank opportunities;
Gain an in depth understanding of complex client needs and engage product specialists to deliver a broad range of financial solutions;
Drive deal execution with proven skills in origination, structuring and negotiation of complex solutions;
Continue to build your profile and presence on behalf of CommBank across the region.

We want to hear from you if you have:
Experience in successfully building and leading a Commercial Banking or Corporate portfolio;
Experience within the Healthcare industry is highly regarded;
Experience in commercial lending >$10M;
A deep understanding of banking products and services and sound financial analysis and credit skills, with a strong understanding of financial documents and the underlying cash-flow drivers;
A real passion for customer service and driving new business
