Role Summary

Provides a customer focused network and security support service to the organisation across the globe. Administers and designs network and security assets within the environment, while also assisting the infrastructure, Security Operations & field services teams with escalations relating to the network stack.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to, the following:

Network and Security Support

Provides Customer focused networking ICT support to users throughout the Company
Assists in the administration of the ICT global network infrastructure
Ensures compliance with company network and security standards
Ensures compliance with company network security policies
Supports the administration and reporting of IT network and security assets
Receives, responds and records requests for support and resolves to the level of experience and knowledge.
Refers complex incidents to senior staff.
Procures, configures and maintains network and security software and devices in line with established procedures.
Assists in the development of standards and procedures for network end user computing devices.
Maintains a good understanding of the services/products provided by Perenti Group to ensure network communication service levels are maintained.
Contributes to the development and enhancement of an IT network service catalogue.
Coordinates support activities conducted by external providers.
Contributes to and where required establishes and implements ICT data recovery plans to ensure business data recovery management and compliance.

Stakeholder Engagement

Builds and maintains relationships with team members and other stakeholders.
Seeks and obtains feedback from stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and that service provision meets expectations.
Shares knowledge and learning with others.
Required to visit mining sites to assist with support duties on demand where required

Work Related Requirements

Essential criteria

Role Specific

Considerable knowledge and experience in provisioning ICT network support including but not limited to end user computing devices, applications and software across a large environment.

Desirable Criteria

Possession of, or progress towards relevant industry specific qualifications such as Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCP.

The role will be based at the Perenti office in the Perth CBD.
