The OpportunityAs a Personal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality personal care, social support and daily assistance to residents within their Aveo home. Our Personal Care Attendants have a strong focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building social connection and assisting with day-to-day tasks. If you have a background in Home Care or Community Care, make the switch to Concierge Balwyn Retirement Living. We are actively building up a pool of casual Personal Care Attendants. What we offer$41.59/hr including 25% casual loading + relevant award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuationEmployee Referral Program and Employee Assistance ProgramDiscounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providersOpportunities for further career progressionBe part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living communityYou willWork independently within resident villas or units to complete in-home care including personal hygiene, house cleaning, laundry and moreInteract with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.g driving them to appointments)Provide care, tailored to the resident's care needs in line with their current care plansSupporting residents with recreational and social activitiesFollow all Aveo OH&S policies and procedures and report any safety, security and resident incidents Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to dateWhat you will bringExperience within a Support Worker or Personal Care position, with a passion for community care, independent living and wellbeingCertificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, Disability or Health Services Assistance (required) Valid driver's license + vehicle (required)Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)Current Police Check clearance (required, however we can complete for you)Who we areAs a leader in retirement living, with 30 years' experience, Aveo provides the stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
