Together let's redefine retirement living for senior Australians. The OpportunityA rewarding opportunity exists for a dedicated Service Coordinator to join our team and support the Derwent Waters Retirement Living community, located in Claremont. In this role, you will be a true 'all-rounder' within the village, providing service to residents and responding to any incidents & queries. You'll be a friendly and reliable team member that enjoys a high level of customer/resident interaction. Our retirement villages are always full of excitement & activities so you will work across the entire community completing different tasks to ensure the operational needs of the village are met. As we roster our communities 24/7, we are looking for someone with flexible work arrangements who can be available to stay in our village overnight and attend to the needs of the community This is a casual position with to assist with covering adhoc shifts when needed This may include weekends and sleepover shifts when required.What we offer$36.20p/h including casual loading + relevant Aged Care Award entitlements including penalty rates, overtime and allowances + superannuationNo weekend work Employee Referral Program and Employee Assistance ProgramDiscounts to Health Insurance and Retail & Leisure partner providersOpportunities for further career progression (develop into an Admin Assistant or Assistant Community Manager and more)Be part of a friendly and supportive team in a caring retirement living community Your Impact Provide support and coverage to our cafe & kitchen staff to ensure a smooth lunch and/or dinner service Provide general admin and concierge services to residents and assist with any resident requests Be the first responder to any village issues that arise including emergency calls, safety & security issues and providing first aid where neededCoordinate fun, social and inclusive activities for the residents Complete general domestic cleaning of apartments or common areasBe flexible with rostering and shift arrangements as we staff our communities 24 hours a day What you will bring Experience in any customer-facing roles highly desired (e.g. hospitality, retail, aged care, cleaning or administration)A warm & friendly personality that has the ability to work autonomously Current First Aid & CPR Certificate (required or be willing to obtain prior to employment)Current Police Check Certificate (required, but if you do not possess, we can complete for you)Current COVID-19 Vaccinations up-to-date (required) Who we are As a leader in retirement living, with 30 years' experience, Aveo provides the stability and confidence to try new things and keep innovating.
