
Multidisciplinary Physiotherapist

Our organization is seeking a part-time Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in a premium residential aged care facility.
About the Role
This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services founded on our philosophy of resident-centered holistic care. You will be responsible for assessing the physical and psycho-social functioning of residents, working alongside them and their loved ones, and identifying their physiotherapy goals, needs, and preferences.
Physiotherapists understand the importance of good physical functioning and healthy aging to people's sense of well-being. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring high-quality services are provided by the therapy team, meeting the physical and psychosocial needs of our residents.
As a physiotherapist with us, no two days will look the same. You will benefit from a diverse caseload that allows you to apply a broad range of your core skills, including but not limited to:
- Falls prevention, assessment, management, and review.
- Musculoskeletal assessment and management.
- Evidence-based pain management (acute and chronic).
- Mobility and functional retraining and rehabilitation.
- Promoting health and education around cardiovascular and respiratory rehabilitation.
- Continence, bowel, and pelvic health.
- Manual tasks and transfers.
- Oedema management.
- Advocating for residents through supporting choice and mitigating risk processes.
- Training and education.
- Quality monitoring practices and continuous improvement.

Our ideal candidate will possess a physiotherapy qualification, AHPRA registration, and full Australian working rights. They will also be able to pass national police clearance and hold a valid driver's license.
