Role Overview

This position is primarily centered on our Energy Systems division, which encompasses telecommunications, IT, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS), utilities, switchgear, security, emergency lighting, and general electronics. Our reserve power brands, including PowerSafe, DataSafe, and Genesis, provide a diverse product range that meets various reserve power needs, consistently delivering reliable and high-performance battery solutions.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead and design local enhancement initiatives while effectively coordinating with the Regional EOS Director.
  • Identify integration challenges with other projects/processes and collaborate with relevant project/process owners to achieve project objectives.
  • Provide training and mentorship to local managers and plant teams on the EnerSys Operational System.
  • Define project scopes to support system and productivity enhancements.
  • Facilitate kaizen events aimed at achieving targeted improvements.
  • Oversee the development and upkeep of methods and systems to measure the success of project goals, objectives, and metrics.
  • Report results to the regional EOS director and Plant managers, recommending necessary corrective actions.
  • Ensure project alignment with other business activities, improvement initiatives, and overall business strategy.
  • Maintain communication with the regional EOS director and Plant manager regarding program status and ensure coordinated activities across other plants.
  • Demonstrate leadership in guiding an improvement team, acting as a results-oriented change agent.
  • Communicate effectively across all organizational levels to foster relationships and collaboration towards business objectives.
  • Utilize statistical analysis tools/methodologies, project management principles, SAP, quality, and basic financial concepts to evaluate planned activities.
  • Apply lean methodologies and tools to achieve business goals.
  • Maintain regular in-person attendance, demonstrating punctuality and reliability.
  • Optimize the use of personnel, machinery, materials, information, and energy in product or service delivery.
  • Lead project initiatives by identifying opportunities, defining and justifying projects financially, launching project teams, and employing effective project management practices.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the business.
