About the Job Opportunity

As a Backend API Specialist with strong expertise in PHP and Symfony, you will play a key role in crafting secure, scalable APIs that drive business growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-performing APIs.
  • Enforce best practices around input validation, data protection, rate limiting, encryption, and transport security.
  • Implement clear versioning, consistent error handling, and robust observability.
  • Document APIs using OpenAPI.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Contribute across the full development lifecycle: design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Key Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience with PHP8+, Symfony, SQL, and OpenAPI.
  • Experience with Oracle or Postgres databases.
  • Strong knowledge of version control systems.
  • Familiarity with Docker containers.
  • Solid understanding of Linux-based operating systems.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
