Assistant Educator Position

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Assistant Educator to support our teaching team in creating a warm, engaging and safe learning environment for children.

This is a part-time position working 4 days per week with flexible hours between 6:45am and 5:45pm. The centre operates 48 weeks per year aligned with Education Queensland term dates and remains open during school holidays.

About the Role
  • Support Lead Educators in planning and implementing high-quality child-led programs.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families and colleagues.
  • Assist with daily routines, activities and learning experiences guided by the EYLF, NQF and NQS.
  • Contribute to a collaborative culture where care and professionalism are central.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care (or currently studying towards)
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification
  • Paid Blue Card
  • Previous experience in an Early Childhood setting (essential)
  • Strong understanding of EYLF, NQF, and NQS
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of professionalism
  • Flexible and positive attitude, with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments
