Security Operations Manager

About the Role:
Wilson Security is seeking a highly skilled security officer to manage the day-to-day security operations at the University of South Australia.
As a key member of the Facilities Management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the university campuses.
The ideal candidate will have outstanding presentation and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain security measures to ensure a safe and secure environment.
- Respond to security incidents and manage emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate records of security operations and report incidents to management.
- Collaborate with site management and other departments to address security issues and concerns.
- Monitor and control access to sites, ensuring only authorized personnel are allowed entry.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a security aligned business or similar.
- Current SA Security Industry Licence and First Aid Certificate.
- Working with Children Check and Baseline Defence Clearance.
- Previous experience using Gallagher and Building Management Systems desirable.
- Decisive decision maker in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Australian Citizenship.
