About the Role
As an Electrical Fitter - Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for undertaking maintenance activities across a range of defence plant and equipment at Amberley Barracks. This role is a full-time permanent position, working Monday to Friday, with a 12pm early clock off on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, service, test, and repair field power generators and field power generation plant and equipment.
- Maintain, repair, and service air conditioning systems.
- Maintain, service, test, and repair mobile refrigeration units.
- Work with computer-controlled diagnostic and management systems.
- Refer to circuit diagrams and use meters and test instruments to find electrical faults.
- Adjust control systems and timing to ensure plant and equipment are running at peak performance.
Requirements
- Certificate III in Electrical Fitting / Electrotechnology.
- QLD Electrical License/tickets relevant to the role.
- Current Open Australian driver's license is required.
- You must be an Australian Citizen to obtain a Defence security clearance.
