About the Role

Rogers Resourcing is seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Fitter/Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of our fleet of heavy machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out repairs and conduct routine maintenance on heavy machinery, including excavators, skid-steers, loaders, and trucks.
  • Organize and prioritize maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure maximum productivity.
  • Liaise with project managers, site supervisors, and other stakeholders to coordinate maintenance and repairs.
  • Travel between sites using your company-provided vehicle.
  • Communicate and liaise with third-party suppliers for quotes and diagnosis.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in heavy duty fitting and mechanics, with a strong understanding of machinery diagnosis and repair.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage own schedule and workload.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of heavy machinery maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to provide mobile/field repairs and work in a fast-paced environment.
