We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our WISE IDEA team as an Employment and Mental Health Specialist. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and delivering evidence-based interventions to support individuals with mental health conditions to achieve their vocational goals.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions to support individuals with mental health conditions to achieve their vocational goals.
- Collaborate with other services, including support workers, carers, and families, to provide effective support and promote employment opportunities.
- Conduct occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized plans to support participants in building key skills for work.
- Work with employers to provide accessible workplaces and promote inclusive employment practices.
- Contribute to the evaluation and research of our interventions and supports to inform best practice and policy development.
- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
- Relevant degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Full Australian driver's license.
- Ability to obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check.
