We are seeking a skilled Field Service Heavy Diesel Technician to join our high-performing team in Wetherill Park.
This role involves:
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and responding to breakdowns in the field, working on an on-call roster
- Providing first-line support for breakdown events
- Maintaining company fleets
- Capturing engine data for analysis and improvement
- Diagnostics and fault identification for diverse range engines
- Repairing and maintaining heavy diesel engines, both major and minor issues
- Inspecting and replacing components as needed
- Rebuilding and reconditioning engines to meet high standards
- Working independently and as part of a collaborative team environment
- Collaborating with other OEMs to deliver exceptional service
Key Responsibilities:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Field service experience, preferably with heavy duty engine expertise
- A relevant trade qualification, such as Heavy Diesel preferred but not necessary
- Strong diagnostic skills for engine systems
- The ability to work autonomously for extended periods
- A genuine commitment to workplace safety and adhering to strict protocols
- A valid driver's license for frequent travel
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
