Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. This individual will work closely with the project manager and team members to oversee and coordinate the various aspects of heavy civil construction projects.
Duties and Responsibilities- Manage project schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials, maintaining accurate records and coordinating with the production team.
- Have in-depth knowledge of project scope and regularly consult with field operations, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Review daily project requirements, analyze specifications, and update the project schedule accordingly.
- Compile and distribute contract documents for management input and review.
- Work directly under the Project Management team to ensure successful project execution.
- Oversee safety protocols and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Assist the Project Manager with project setup, closeout, and other administrative tasks.
- Maintain accurate logs and records for all submittals and RFIs.
- Create and maintain project CPM schedules with logic input from project management and field operations.
- Provide assistance with two-week look ahead schedules and resource loading for FDOT projects.
- Attend and maintain minutes for weekly progress meetings.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
- Strong computer skills and familiarity with construction project management applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented office and field environment.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with clients and subcontractors.
