Your role as an OT Grad involves:
- Supporting children with developmental delays in everyday tasks like bathing, dressing, and feeding themselves
- Educating and involving parents, carers, and others to facilitate learning and development
- Helping children achieve milestones such as fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Assisting children with behavioural issues to maintain positive behaviours in all environments
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Occupational Therapy
- Eligibility for AHPRA registration upon graduating
- Graduated within the last 12 months or graduating in 2025
- A full valid driver's license with third-party insurance
- A valid Working with Children Check, NDIS Workers Screening Clearance, Police Check, and First Aid certification
- Excellent communication and time management skills, along with attention to detail
