Job Title: Senior Associate, Property

About the Role

This position offers a unique opportunity to join our property team and contribute to delivering exceptional client experiences. As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in supporting the Relationship Managers with research and analysis, developing a comprehensive database of industry-specific information, and undertaking analysis to assess risks or opportunities associated with new lending and increases in client credit.

You will be responsible for writing, negotiating, and managing credit applications for new and existing Property clients, conducting due diligence, financial modeling, and risk analysis for applications, and overseeing complex commercial property transactions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Relationships Managers with research and analysis
  • Develop a comprehensive database of industry-specific information
  • Undertake analysis to assess risks or opportunities associated with new lending and increases in client credit
  • Write, negotiate, and manage credit applications for new and existing Property clients
  • Conduct due diligence, financial modeling, and risk analysis for applications
  • Oversee complex commercial property transactions
Requirements
  • Previous commercial credit experience as an Analyst, Associate, Assistant Manager, Senior Associate, or Credit Manager
  • Experience writing credit submissions, covenant monitoring, and annual reviews within property, commercial, corporate, or institutional banking
  • Ability to interpret balance sheets, profit and loss, cash flows, loan structures, and securities; strong financial analysis skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; relevant tertiary qualifications
