About the Role

This Senior E&I Project Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing our portfolios within the Metals and Minerals EPCM sector. Reporting to the Lead Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering projects within scope while monitoring progress to ensure adherence to project schedule and budget parameters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing project scope changes, assessing impacts on quantity, cost, and timeline to maintain project integrity and client satisfaction.
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring open communication and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Interfacing with discipline engineers to ensure procurement and contracts strategies and requirements are met.
  • Coordinating and expediting procurement and contracts package market engagements and quotation requests.
  • Conducting technical and commercial reviews to ensure compliance with project goals.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant EPCM/EPC background, particularly in managing switchroom manufacturing and site EI&C supply and installation contracts.
  • Site/Field experience will be highly advantageous.
  • An Electrical Engineering degree from a recognized tertiary institution or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in mining and minerals studies and/or projects, showcasing a deep understanding of the sector.
  • Proven background in process plants and mining projects, with essential experience in operations or construction.
  • Significant expertise in project scheduling, planning, cost control, estimating, and reporting, ensuring effective project execution.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with a strong ability to build rapport and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling the effective resolution of complex project challenges.
  • Committed to safety excellence, with a proven track record of actively promoting and sustaining a Zero Harm environment.
