About the Role

The Community Engagement Officer plays a crucial role in promoting mental health and wellbeing in Central Australian communities, working in partnership with families and key stakeholders to raise awareness and advocate for key issues.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate and deliver community awareness activities, promotions, and educational presentations around Central Australia.
  2. Work with the SEWB team to embed three streams of care: medical, therapeutic, and cultural and social support with intensive case management as required.
  3. Provide support to people accessing the SEWB services, including access to a dedicated GP and nursing team (healthcare pods).
