About the Role:An exciting opportunity exists for enthusiastic Consumer Peer Support Workers to join the team at Northern Health. We have positions currently available at our Hotham Street Community Mental Health Team.
We are seeking individuals who have a personal lived experience of mental health challenges and accessing mental health services. Relevant understanding of public mental health services and the mental health system is also essential.
A key aspect of this role is empowering consumers in their own recovery by sharing your lived experience. You will be a team player who is collaborative and motivated to work within a holistic multidisciplinary team.
- Well-developed communication, organisation, time management and computer skills
- Ability to mutually support consumers in their recovery
