Radiographer Specialist

The role involves performing MRI and CT imaging with autonomy, demonstrating advanced professional expertise, clinical judgment, and competencies across complex modalities while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
This position requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, utilizing strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Advanced Clinical Practice: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, WHS & radiation safety practices, and continuous service enhancement, contributing to improved patient outcomes.
- Patient-Centered Care: Deliver high-quality patient care with sensitivity to patient needs and psychology, ensuring accurate documentation, confidentiality, and adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
- Professional Development & Leadership: Engage in ongoing professional development, support student education, mentor junior staff, and contribute to departmental training, research, and evidence-based practice.
- Team Engagement & Impact: Work closely with colleagues across the department to enhance patient outcomes, share knowledge, and foster a supportive, learning-focused workplace.
- Hold a Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification, and maintain current registration with AHPRA, as well as a valid NSW EPA Radiation License.
- Exhibit significant experience in Medical Imaging, with strong knowledge and hands-on skills in CT and MRI modalities.
- Be able to work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, inspiring and motivating colleagues while contributing to shared departmental goals.
- Possess high-level communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, along with strong computer literacy and active engagement in continuing professional development.
