Job Description:

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to join our clients team on a road infrastructure project in Newcastle. This is a temporary position with an immediate start, running until the New Year. You'll be working with a leading principal contractor on a high-profile project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all work meets the required quality standards and specifications.
  • Monitor and report on construction activities to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct quality inspections and audits on materials and workmanship.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate quality documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with the site team and subcontractors to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in quality control/assurance on civil engineering or road infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of Australian construction standards and regulations.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
