Job Title: Industrial Electrician

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced industrial electrician to join our operations maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing planned and reactive maintenance across our region, ensuring compliance and safety of plant and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, SCADA technology, and instrumentation qualifications. They will also possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned maintenance on electrical equipment, including routine checks and repairs
  • Respond to equipment faults on shift, utilizing fault-finding and rectification techniques
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Install and test new equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards
Requirements:
  • Electrical Licence
  • Australian Recognised Trade Certificate
  • Australian Drivers Licence
Benefits:
  • Favourable hourly rate, plus shift penalties, allowances and overtime
  • Permanent – fulltime role, Monday to Friday, day shift
  • 1 week every 8 weeks – afternoon shift, with an 'on-call' component and weekend roster
