Explore a new career opportunity as an Experienced Claims Advisor with our Workers' Compensation team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex workers' compensation claims from inception to settlement. You will work closely with injured workers, employers, brokers, legal vendors, and regulators to deliver timely, cost-effective, and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of complex workers' compensation claims from inception to settlement.
  • Work closely with injured workers, employers, brokers, legal vendors, and regulators to deliver timely, cost-effective, and sustainable return-to-work outcomes.
  • Set and review reserves, develop case strategies, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Ensure all claims activities meet Zurich and WorkCover governance, legislative, and quality assurance requirements.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in Workers' Compensation claims, with strong technical claims handling and injury management skills.
  • Sound knowledge of Western Australia Workers' Compensation legislation and experience working within statutory schemes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting vulnerable customers, delivering empathy-driven, high-quality customer service.
  • Strong decision-making and case planning skills, including setting and reviewing reserves and developing case strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners (brokers, insurers, legal vendors, regulators).
  • High attention to detail and commitment to compliance, quality assurance, and governance.
  • Resilience and the ability to manage competing priorities and complex caseloads.
