Email and Direct Marketing Director

Job Description:
The role will report to the Executive Manager Digital Marketing. The successful candidate will lead and execute the development and delivery of enterprise-wide email and direct mail marketing strategies that drive customer engagement, retention and operational efficiency.
This position requires a high level of expertise in email and direct marketing to develop and implement effective campaigns that achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define, implement and continuously improve lifecycle marketing programs tailored to key audience segments.
- Oversight of the planning, creation and execution of email and direct mail campaigns, newsletters and automated flows.
- Collaboration across teams to translate business requirements into functional solutions.
- Champion direct communication best practices and ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in lifecycle or 1:1 marketing.
- Confidence developing and evolving lifecycle communications strategies.
- Proven ability to track performance, manage complex projects and deliver results in risk-aware settings.
- Experience with CMS and CRM platforms such as Adobe and Salesforce, along with analytics tools like GA4 or Adobe Omniture.
