Job Title

A prestigious opportunity exists for an experienced national brand leader within a leading Australian fashion wholesale market.

The role is multifaceted, encompassing sales and inventory management to drive growth and development while fostering new customer relationships.

This position oversees the sales development and management of sales agents across Australia and New Zealand for a highly sought-after contemporary coordinate collection, iconic US denim line, and long-standing European import brand.

As part of a dynamic team, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication, organisational skills, and a keen eye for detail. They must be able to work well under pressure and prioritise their workload effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate relationships with retailers to expand distribution in Australia & New Zealand aligned with global brand direction and positioning.
  • Work closely with stockists and the team to ensure optimal inventory levels.
  • Develop strong, lasting relationships with wholesale customers through exceptional communication and customer service.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with attention to detail.
  • At least 5 years relevant work experience.
  • Successful track record in sales for high-end international brands.
  • Proficient skills in MS Office suite software (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High level of emotional intelligence, particularly when dealing with customers and suppliers.
  • Availability to travel occasionally, potentially both domestically and internationally.
  • A valid Driver's Licence.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience with Apparel 21 or equivalent ERP system.
  • Established relationships with international supplier dealings.
