About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Services Assistant to join our team at Moran Sylvania home. As a key member of our Food Services Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality food and dining experiences for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food to residents in a timely and efficient manner
  • Work collaboratively with the Chef and other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Restock supplies and receive goods as required
  • Record temperatures and complete checklists to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Work as a member of the Food Services team to achieve our goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Interest in food, nutrition, and general well-being
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards
  • Food Safety or Food Handling Certificate highly desirable
  • Valid work permit and current police check
  • Current Influenza and COVID-19 vaccination, including booster
