About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Aircrew Officer to join our Offshore Aviation team on a full-time touring basis, supporting our helicopter operations throughout Australia and Timor Leste.

The role involves providing technical support in various onshore and offshore environments, rendering assistance to personnel in emergency situations. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient management of the aircraft's rear cabin during flying operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Search and Rescue, Emergency Medical, Passenger Transport, and Winching Operations services
  • Manage the aircraft's rear cabin during flying operations
  • Work in diverse onshore and offshore environments
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Maintain qualifications – Aircrew Officer (Dual Qualified - Rescue Crew Officer where applicable)
  • CAO 29:11 Certificate of Competency in Winching and Rappelling Operations
  • Current Senior First Aid Certificate
  • Current CASA Class II Medical Certificate
  • Current Advanced Resuscitation and Oxygen Certificate (HLTAID015)
  • TBOSIET/HUET Qualified
  • Current Dangerous Goods Awareness Certificate
  • Ability to hold/meet the ACO role endorsement/currency requirements
  • 500 hours Rotary wing Aircrew Officer experience
  • Minimum 12 months experience in a similar role
  • Ability to pass and maintain company fitness test
  • Bronze Medallion or Community Life Saving Certificate
