Petal and Pup is a global online shopping destination founded in 2014.

We have operations in Brisbane, Australia and California, USA.

We are looking for e-commerce, fashion and customer enthusiasts to join our growing team.

As a Junior Buyer, you will support the in-house Buyers with sourcing styles and stock for your category.

The Junior Buyer role is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to establish your career as a fashion buyer within the industry.

The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for emerging trends and cutting-edge style.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with buyers to source, develop and select assortment to build a range that is commercially strong, regionally specific, and relevant to our customers.
  • Ensuring completion of required administrative tasks related to buying (writing purchase orders, new item set-up, pricing worksheets, Po tracking and Po writing etc).
  • Setting up, analysing, presenting, and recap sales trends, results, & hindsights to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Continuing to build data analytical skills and maintaining data integrity across the system (i.e., Shopify, Inventory Planner, NetSuite, and any proprietary tools built in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets).
  • Identifying and analysing new trends/styles and their relevance to the Petal & Pup customer.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Statistics, or a related topic preferred.

Previous experience in fashion/apparel buying is required, along with high proficiency in MS Excel and excellent interpersonal skills.
