Job Description

As a Senior Manager, Quality Assurance and Standards, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our organization maintains the highest standards of academic governance, compliance, and quality assurance. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will provide expert advice on international education regulations and best practice in academic management, while building strong relationships across the organization and with external regulators.

You will oversee the development and maintenance of policy frameworks, manage our risk profile, and lead compliance reporting to meet regulatory obligations. You will support governance boards and committees, contribute to accreditation and audit processes, and drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications

You will bring:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (postgraduate desirable).
  • Proven leadership and management experience in an education setting.
  • Expert knowledge of risk and regulatory frameworks related to international education.
  • Strong experience in developing, reviewing, and implementing fit-for-purpose policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with executives, regulators, and diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic advice and drive continuous improvement in governance and compliance.
  • Highly developed organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to mentor, coach, and develop staff.
