Regional Intensive Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Critical Care Physician to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Critical Care Department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience in an Australian Critical Care Department or equivalent, including pediatric and adult clinical experience. You will also possess the ability to work effectively under supervision or independently, as part of a major regional trauma retrieval centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct clinical services in the Critical Care Department, managing complex cases and providing consultation to all patients.
- Participate in quality assurance activities within the department, ensuring compliance with legislative, policy, and guideline requirements.
- Ensure that all duties comply with relevant healthcare legislation and AWH policies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) recognized by Australia's medical curriculum.
- Eligibility for registration with AHPRA - General or Level 3+ supervision.
- Australian Citizen or holder of a visa with appropriate work rights.
- PGY4+ with significant experience in an Australian Critical Care Department or equivalent.
