This role offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of older people. You'll work across various clinical areas, including mobility and functional assessments, restorative therapy, falls prevention, pressure care, pain management, and active ageing group programs.
As a physiotherapist in this role, you'll deliver one-on-one reablement therapy and collaborate with care staff to develop resident-centred plans. Your work will be purpose-driven and deeply rewarding.
Key Responsibilities- Mobility and functional assessments for residents
- Delivery of restorative therapy sessions
- Falls prevention strategies
- Pressure care management
- Pain management and treatment options
- Active ageing group programs
- Current AHPRA registration as a physiotherapist
- Passion for reablement and restoring independence in the lives of older people
- Australian working rights
- Ability to obtain NDIS Worker Screening and a National Police Check
- Driver's license and willingness to travel around a dedicated region
