This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Maintenance Specialist. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our facilities.
As a Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering daily maintenance requirements plans in accordance with company values, legislation, and HSEQ procedures. You will lead maintenance execution in line with health, safety, and quality programs relating to maintenance functionality performed on site.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrate your ability to lead preventative, reactive, and corrective maintenance with strong diagnostic skills on fixed and mobile fleet.
- Experience with light vehicles, stationary plant, including but not limited to various brands of compressors, generators, tubeveyors, augers, and auxiliary hydraulic powerpacks.
- Experience with Computer Maintenance Management Systems; SAP experience advantageous.
- IT savvy, including base Microsoft suite of programs.
- Competency with auto electrical, hydraulic diagnostics, and repair – auto electrical trade advantageous.
- Queensland police clearance (SSAN) or ability to obtain.
- Unrestricted AU LV drivers license.
- Standard 11 or ability to obtain.
- Site inductions to Bowen Basin mine sites advantageous.
We are looking for someone who has good problem-solving abilities, a well-organised collaborative philosophy, and a strong focus on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also essential.
