M&T Resources is seeking a dedicated and skilled professional to enhance our Cyber Security Program. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and security of our IT infrastructure.
Position Overview: We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Analyst to contribute to our cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate will be proactive and self-driven, capable of navigating complex security challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of our cybersecurity strategy.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and incident response, preparing detailed reports on security findings and recommendations.
- Analyze network alerts from various sources to identify potential security threats.
- Generate periodic reports on network activities relevant to cybersecurity practices.
- Ensure the security of our infrastructure through effective identity and access management.
- Analyze system data to visualize and report on the security posture of the organization.
- Manage change activities and monitor the ongoing managed service environment.
Key Requirements:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a Cyber Security Analyst role or a similar position, with a readiness to engage in diverse tasks.
- Experience in facilitating security incident response testing and updating related protocols.
- Strong understanding of security principles, including web application security, cloud security, IAM, firewalls, SIEM, and vulnerability assessment processes.
- Familiarity with MS Azure Infrastructure and experience with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills.
- Relevant industry certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
